Al Jazira sign Al Ain duo as part of Diaky deal
Al Jazira's squad overhaul has begun in earnest with the club confirming the signings of Al Ain duo Musallam Fayez and Yaqoub Al Hosani.
Fayez and Al Hosani, both 26, have signed three-year deals at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium and join as part of the deal that took former Jazira captain Ibrahim Diaky to the Garden City last week.
Defender Fayez leaves Al Ain after spending his entire career with Al Ain while midfielder Al Hosani returns to Abu Dhabi where he previously enjoyed three years at Al Wahda after just one season with the UAE champions.
Jazira are yet to officially confirm the arrival of the duo, with Sport360° understanding the club are waiting to complete the signing of a third, unnamed Emirati player before introducing the trio to the media.
One man who is leaving the club, though, is acting chief executive Carlo Nohra whose contract with the club will not be renewed beyond June 30.
Nohra, former CEO of Al Ain and the Pro League, was handed the reins by Jazira last year on an initial deal until the end of the season, but he has told Sport360° the two have mutually decided to part ways.
