VIDEO: Kieron Pollard drops THREE catches in three balls
We've seen some stunning catches in this season's Indian Premier League with Kieron Pollard easily taking the pick of the bunch with this effort.
However, the West Indian made headlines for all the wrong reasons on Sunday as the Mumbai Indians star dropped not one, but THREE catches in consecutive balls in a remarkable sequence of events.
Michael Hussey was the beneficiary of Pollard's fielding woes with the Australian batsman leading a charmed life at the crease.
First, Pollard, stationed at point, failed to hold onto a lofted Hussey effort before he lit a routine catch slip through his grasp. His misery was compounded when he dropped his third regulation catch, receiving a blow to his face for his troubles too.
There was to be some respite for Pollard later in the innings when he produced a delightful catch - the toughest of the lot - to remove Suresh Raina off the bowling of Mitchell Johnson.
Despite Pollard's misfortune Mumbai, led by Johnson (3/27), skittled out Chennai for just 79 runs registering a thumping victory at home successfully defending 139.
