Midfield sensation Omar Abdulrahman is certainly the UAE man of the moment.

Recognised as the Gulf Cup of Nations Player of the Tournament for his sparkling form during the UAE’s triumphant campaign, Abdulrahman is being lauded by the entire nation.

It seems laughable now - and almost embarrassing - that there were concerns the Al Ain star would struggle to replicate last season’s form with the added pressure and expectation placed on his shoulders this year.

Instead, Abdulrahman has pushed onto an even higher level as talk begins to mount that he could be the greatest UAE player of all-time. At the age of 21.

Not only is he a super-talented footballer, but Abdulrahman is also a joy to watch. His movement, first-touch and left-foot are just sublime, while his range of passing and eagle-eyed vision should be the envy of many aspiring midfielders. Remember that assist against Uruguay?
