Former world champion Nicky Hayden helped inaugurate the Middle East’s first Ducati Caffè at the Dubai Mall, on the American MotoGP star’s first visit to the UAE.

“It’s my first time here other than flying through. I’ve only been here one day but I’m very impressed,” said Hayden at the café opening. “It’s better than I expected.

“I really do think there should be more Middle East stops in the calendar. The weather is good here, we don’t have to deal with the cold, that’s really nice and I like this part of the world.”

Ducati Caffè was brought to Dubai by AD Group, one of the region’s top retailers, and represents a new concept of a restaurant, lounge and coffee bar that conveys the core values of the Ducati brand.

Diners can enjoy authentic Italian food and beverage in a cool, contemporary and sporting atmosphere.

In addition to the mouth-watering food and beverage, the exclusive Ducati brand collection of apparel and merchandise is available at the café.

Brand Development Director at Ducati Motor Holding, Lucio Attinà said: “We are very excited to expand the Ducati Caffè concept into the UAE with the AD Group and delighted that the first location is in The Dubai Mall,” said Attinà.

Ducati Caffè is located on the ground floor, opposite the ice skating rink at the Dubai Mall and it is open daily from 9am to midnight.
